Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI gas registration in Great Britain on April 1st 2009.

It covers both piped natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)”.

NICEIC is the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. It has been assessing the electrical competence of electricians for over fifty years and currently maintains a roll of over 26,000 registered contractors.
Approved contractors undergo a rigorous assessment process, covering a representative sample of their work, their premises, documentation, equipment, and the competence of their key supervisory staff. They are then re-assessed on a regular basis to ensure continued compliance.
OFTEC plays a leading role in raising standards within the heating industries of the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Their trade association represents the interests of oil storage, appliance and supply equipment manufacturers and we develop course and assessment material for training providers. They also operate a UKAS accredited competent person registration scheme for over 8,000 technicians involved in the installation and maintenance of oil, solid fuel, and renewable heating equipment and Part P electrical work.
The installation service provided by Newcombustion has been assessed as competent to self certify that the following types of building work have been installed to meet the requirements of Regulations 4 and 7 of the Building Regulations 2010.
Servicing and Commissioning:
- Single stage pressure jet servicing & commissioning
- Servicing and commissioning of oil and bio-liquid fuelled Vaporising burner fired domestic fixed combustion appliances < 45kw (Wet)
- Installation of oil and bio-liquid fuelled fixed combustion appliances and systems
- Installation of oil fuel storage and supply systems connected to fixed combustion appliances
